Usually I don't but i get poppers every hit now, weird haha when I cleaned the coils they were glowing evenly

When I set up my attys correctly and the coils are clean I get a lot of crackling and a few pops. If the popping is pronounced I can get the occasional juice droplet spit into my mouth through the drip tip.

IMO it's the result of the coil surface temperature being a bit on the high side. That is not a sure sign that you're burning juice, but it means you're close and you need to watch that.

It has happened to me with 7 watt attys and with 50 watt attys, so power by itself is not the issue. This is with good coils that light up properly when dry with no hot legs. In my experience popping will decrease the more the coils get gunked up.

Happens to me when I make the wick too thin. Takes some practice to get it just right. I don't like to "pre-scrunch" the cotton much, just lightly form it into a cylinder maybe about 1.5 or 2 times the diameter of the coil. I roll a point on it to thread it through, then cut that off. You don't want to get oil from your fingers onto the wick. When you pull it through, it should be a bit "snug", but not so tight that the cotton stretches out when you pull on it. That's my method anyway.

Here is Hanna's (HH-357 fame) fix for that.

Yes, that's the bridge from an old 510 atomizer in there.

What little bit of oil your skin produces wouldnt cause no harm. Unless your hand are dirty all the time this is 1 of the more outlandish things ive read on here.

Besides that, I will usually get some popping on my coils depending on how new they are or how saturated they are. Rarely ive gotten a drop in my mouth, but its nothing to worry about.

Really? I'm honored. If you think your fingers aren't oily, take a close look at your smartphone screen. All I know is after I've wrapped a coil, running the wire through my fingers, when I dry burn it a little puff of smoke comes off that smells like burning hair... Maybe it doesn't matter on a wick, but I prefer to keep it as clean as possible.
