Popping Noise

Hey all New to cartos, and new to LR anything. Just filled up an LR carto with some of my Cinnamon Roll juice. It's not very goopy, and it soaked in nicely.

When I press my button, the carto makes a POP sound and then I get a small amount of vapor. It somewhat burns, but it doesn't really taste burnt as much as I can tell. What's going on?

With regular carto's, I let mine soak in for a minimum of 30 minutes before I use them to let it really soak the coils down. The lack of vapor is likely due to the liquid just not soaking in well yet. My carto's also crackle and pop all the time and from my experience, this is a good thing. There may be some more experienced folks than me respond but IMHO, nothing to worry about.

The pop means it's working. Are you sure that you completely filled the carto? The top if it should look slushy after sitting for 20 minutes.

I like the popping sound. It's comforting.

Like has already been said . . . make sure the filler has had enough time to soak the juice in, and there will be a bit of a popping sound, but that just means it's heating up the liquid properly. As long as you've got vapor, it means you have enough liquid in the filler material.

Try giving it a quick blow into a napkin. It may be flooded. Either no juice or too much is generally the problem

I did that because I held it up to the light and couldn't see throught it

I don't much use standard cartos anymore, but some were louder than others, and most all would quiet down after a bit of use. Same thing happens with a newer atty for me too, but it's harder to tell because there is more going on that masks the sound.

You're not vaping rice krispies juice are you?

I have one eliquid which does this no matter what device I use. It (Florida Orange) pops just once or twice whether it's in a 510 tank or a G4 or a CE2. Dunno why. LOL: "Rice Krispies Juice"!!

I ran several vapor production tests the other day.
Some pop more than others.
VG:H2O 9:1 did not pop at all.
PGGA 7:3 pops like bacon.

The clearomizers or clear dual coils don't pop but the do swoosh by that I mean you get an air and plastic sound is the best I can describe it . Some do get quieter with use and others like the boge 2ohm cartomizer will probably always sound like cooking bacon . Maybe an ego cone will make it less noticeable .

These are LR boges, not standards And not that I'm aware of on the juice! I tried a sampler of Rice Krispity from KBV and I gagged... Many people love it though, so I don't know. I know it must have vanilla, so that explains it because any type of vanilla flavoring tastes gross to me!

But yeah these cartos sound like they're gonna go flying up and explode in the sky like a firework!

Eh, I don't really care, I think it's funny. That and I really don't like the look of the cones. I love the way an eGo looks without it for some unbeknownst reason

Holy Swedish Chef . . . there's actually a Rice Krispies vape?!?!?! LOL, I was just playing . . . how funny. (Actually, I guess I should only be surprised if there isn't a juice made of something, LOL.)

Popping is good. It means you flooded your atty like you should be doing.

Okay update:

I haven't touched this carto since it was being bad. It burns my throat so bad I am coughing like no tomorrow. There isn't a lot of vapor at all, and it doesn't sound like my other cartos. It really, really hurts to vape this one, and I don't think it's the flavor. Should I just give up on this carto? I'm afraid to try another one with the same juice now!

I honestly don't think this is a good carto. It hurts so much I can barely vape my good ones. Time to try out another one... I'll know if it's the juice if another does it.

i get the sizzling bacon sound with LR cartos but have found on the ego the cone really helps to quiten it down as well as help with the draw. i kind of like the sound though.

That's what I hear with my GOOD ones, but my bad one is too quiet and the pop sound before it whooooshes is loud. REALLY loud.

UPDATE: Yep. Bad carto... This makes me sad but it's not that discouraging. I know it's a gamble when it comes to cartos. I filled up another one and it's perfectly fine.
