"Popping" sound from my RDA

I have been using my igo-w for about 3 weeks now. And I got a mech mod and a mid range 20Amp output 18650 battery about a week ago.

I have been running dual coils and have probably built about 10 different sets of coils so far and love it. (1.5-.4 ohms)

The coils I wrapped today (.4ohm) have been popping quite loud and I am not sure why. I have noticed popping or a cracking sound before but this is louder.

I have been looking on ECF and have not been able to find anything so if I am repeating I apologize.

I have put it aside for now until I can figure it out. Any insight would be appreciated!!

The popping and crackling sounds are just places where theres an airspace between the coil and wick material...its the sound of the juice being vaporized.

otherwise, your coil is sitting in a pool of juice and you're boiling off the excess...if so raise the coil a little off the deck and get some wick under the coil

The more power you put on the coil per wire surface area the more you're going to get that popping. It will quiet down as the coils get gunked up. I get it sometimes too. As long as it's not burning juice (burnt hits) I don't worry about it.
