Great idea. Especially using the filigree on the tanks. Haven't seen anyone else doing it and I'm sure they will sell.

Angi - I can win the contest on the ugliest and most boring PV. I took mine out to the garage last night now that I have my Serenity sleeve, I don't have to worry about hot flying glass accidentally hitting my ProVari.

The tank is another attempt at trying to match the purple. Obviously it didn't.

Stormy, w/your talent and creativity, you could easily start a bling tank store! I'd be your first customer ;). I already know my New Year's resolution..to find my inner talent/creativity (its got to be in there somewhere, right???) and start blinging out my tanks. I'm not posting squat on here cuz my stuff is limited, boring and nothing customized about them.

But u peeps keep posting so I can get ideas. Im just thankful that when I finally try something, I can take a pic far away so u guys won't be able to see the huge glue drops, crystals half falling off or the pathetic designs that I end up with.:lol:

I did bling out my own Colts shirts before. It took forever and came out slightly lopsided but nothing a little tweaking of the shirt when I wore it didn't cure.

Susan... have you found a moretti color that matches that purple yet? We (actually Ocelot) came up with another idea last nite for decorating tanks that you could do... starting with... Murrini slices floating in your tank!!! Looking at it, I'd guess Deep Violet Effrete. What do you think?

I hadn't even thought of that... but right after she did, I ran out and cut some murrini I had laying around... look! Sunflowers! If you made some purple murrini and threw them in a plain stainless tank, you could perfectly match! You wouldn't even need murinni... if you match that purple, melt and smash some purple dots to float in your tank:).

That's too cool!! I wish I used clear juice. Most of mine is dark and wouldn't you know it, I don't have any dark violet effetre. Did you polish your murrini before putting it in your tank? I'm going to have to see what's close and make a cane tonight. When I get my IBTanked tanks I'm going to toss some in. Might be just the touch I need. Thanks!!

That looks great, I have the same IBTanked in my cart and I haven't pulled the trigger because I was not sure how it would look with the mini red Provari. Pulling the trigger now. Thanks for the picture!!

Not that I want frilly floating thingies in my tank....but what the hell is murrini if you don't mind me asking and does it affect the juice taste?? I'm glad my wife is not on the forum....yet!! Looks very nice though!!

Oh my gosh that is so cute! What the heck is a murrini? Ok, Google is my friend, I'll check it out. If you just put that in the tank, even I could do that, I'd hope. But 90% of the juices I vape are dark.

Nope I wouldn't say that's remotely ugly! I think the sleeves look great and actually w/cold weather coming, it probably keeps the ProVari warmer to hold and more grip when wearing mittens or gloves. I'm thinking I need to buy one

Murrini are little pieces of glass. They usually contain some kind of design and are made large, then the glass is heated up and pulled down to a smaller size. It's just glass so it won't affect taste. Maybe flowers isn't your thing but what if it's fish or favorite sports team? My friend makes some awesome murrini.

Here's the link to her store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/theglasszone

I can only make simple ones like flowers and hearts.

Hi, yes, Susan answered the question about Murrini:). They are basically designs you make by layering glass, then pulling them out to the exact size you want, then slicing them to the thickness you want.

In my case, I didn't do anything, I read the note, ran outside to scrutinize my murrini collection. Grabbed some, washed em and threw them in the tank. They aren't firepolished or anything... they'd look better and be safer if they were tho, I did it in a hurry to check out the cute idea!!

Suggestion... not sure I'd buy raw murrini, because they are generally just cut with nippers, and teeny glass shards can chip off. What I did was NOT safe, I just wanted to see what it would look like. You should tell the glass person what you are going to do with it, and have them firepolish (melt the glass so it's a solid piece, not fragments that can break off anywhere)!!! Just floating them in your tank shouldn't cause that, but taking them out, bouncing them around outside can knock a glass shard loose. Glass splinters can be microscopic, so you definitely want to firepolish first!!
