Do you have the measurements for Inner Diameter, Outer Diameter, and glass wall thickness for it? Plus a pix? It might be a molded tank. The ProTank has this goofy indent at the top... and the tank glass itself is super thin to accomodate a tool to shape the top with the indent. Makes it REALLY hard to make a replacement tank for. Is the KirF like that? I don't even know what a KirF looks like.

It's not molded like the pro tank. Straight tube with the cap ends bored out to a little larger ID.

Me neither... authentic gear its what I am after.... but was wondering from darkgear's post... but I am with you, that Veradero is a must have!

I fear it was... I have been following these tanks for a while and read some of Kir Fanis and grmodders articles regarding Chinese clones... I wouldn't go that route - I respect who does; I just rather save my coins and get the authentic / masterfully crafted one, from the actual maker.

You need a 22 x 1.2mm standard wall tubing. At that thickness, it's pretty thin to work and not very strong for the diameter. THEN, they flared the ends... which you can really only do if you own the cap to test on as you flare. This prevents anyone who doesn't already own one of the units to make a replacement, because there's no way to eyeball that flare.

But... surely you can buy a replacement directly from the maker?

The originals from the maker are all plastic, I believe what we were talking about is finding a replacement in glass (I was anyways).

Knowing cerakote the way I do it rarely gets dirty and can be cleaned with a damp rag...and it with the green led is gorgeous....
