my SnP is on the way!
These tank pics are truly gorgeous! And remember when u post pics to tell what the tanks are for novices like me.![]()
I didn't realize how many carto tanks there were. Sort of overwhelming! Especially on the wallet.
EDIT- the one on the black ProVari has a small screw on top..isn't that to easily refill w/out having to move the tank up and down? Someone told me at a local B&M that don't make that style any more. Is this true or am I totally confused w/something else?
My guesses.
First Pic. IBTanked, unknown DT, KirF Ring and Extension. Privadero w/ poly tank, mini "the ball" DT. SnP 22mm, unknown DT, Brass KirF ring, Brass KirF extension.
Second pic. IBTanked, IBTipsy Rook DT, Loki Proring?(too blurry to see), Privadero w/ poly tank, Zantos DT. Prive Special w/pmma tube, mini "the ball" DT.
The SnP on the Provari mini has 23mm caps.
Kir Fanis still makes those with that fill hole. It works OK. You need a needle tip bottle to use it and the fill screw can get in the way of a lot of drip tips. I still use a IBTanked fill tool or SYM most of the time anyway.
)
The Kir Fanis has one hole, the SnP has two. I prefer the two holes on the SnP over the single fill hole on the Privadero because the second hole allows air to escape the tank while you fill it, while the single hole does not. Can lead to some overflow - nothing horrible, since you are using a needle tip. And as darkgear mentioned, you can always use your fill tool.
That being said, I think that it is a beautiful tank (edited to add: After taking the photo, I decided that I won't be using that particular drip tip with the Sophia, it looks sorta.....)
