possibility of trueman co-op

with neph's blessing i'm testing the possibility of a trueman co-op.
please, look at their website and see if you are interested

i'm mostly interested in the cartos, those are 4081s but adapters are available at $1.90 each.
the unflavored cartos are $6.50/5 but thomas at trueman has promised me a special price due to problems with my previous order; those problems were rectified promptly.
free shipping kicks in at $200.00. i would like to keep the first order fairly small and concentrate on just a few items. i know somebody in this group had eyed the solar charger but not sure what the interest would be.
as far as bottles are concerned, i will, of my own, add them to the order and then offer them to our members at whatever price i can get them for.

this is not official yet, just checking to see what the interest level is at the moment!

Not to bring that burned carto thread that is about 1,000 pages over here....but, in sum, these are the cartos that you personally have found to be the best in terms of not burning correct? Do they have the fire ......ant wrap? Is it possible to sum up in two sentences why you feel they are different/better? (might not be possible!)

jjrose, the bottles are cheap at 18cents for 3ml, 21cents for 10ml or in that area. i WON"T take any orders for bottles though. i will get them on my own and then offer them at cost to pif.
this way i don't have to worry about counting bottles to begin with.

neo, i believe those cartos are the best i can do healthwise at the moment. they are not burn proof but at least burn resistant. katya found some dark substance on the filament which could have been burned juice but the filler material looked very good.
the much praised 510s from ikenvape look, on first inspection, identical to these 4081s
apparently, cartos are a work in progress still, but those imo come closest to my old smoking experience

i will probably order, if this co-op goes through, 200 bottles or so. but i believe they are shipped in 3 pieces and i don't want to have that sorting hanging over me the moment the order comes in.

I'd be willing to buy some of these just, if for no other reason, so I can vape them and take them apart so I can see for myself. If it's more burn resistant, then the material has to be something entirely different. I won't beat a dead horse in this thread about the issue as that other thread has enough dead horses in there to choke a cow.

I had only been in the cancelled carto co-op and I know the prices there were great so it was definitely worth the co-op.
I'm just wondering what the good deals are, the 510 cartos don't look super cheap. Is it just for bottles for you?

I dunno. I personally didn't see any fantastic, slap your momma prices except for the bottles. I'm hoping it goes through though because I'd love to buy some bottles off him once the dust settles.

It would take 953 bottles to qualify for free shipping. There isn't enough savings over us plastics unless it can be done w/ free shipping since you still have to pay for shipping from co-op to your house. I think he might be trying to get the order together with what people want, add the stuff he wants and fill the order in with bottles to resell (at his cost) to make up the amount needed to make the co-op worth doing? It appears he's trying to avoid having bottles added so he can ship the orders out fast since it sounds like the bottles will be a bit labor intensive. If this goes through, I'd want 25 of each size he winds up with and would be in no hurry for delivery.

thomas had emailed me he would give me a special price on cartos but did not mention a figure. i could ask him what he had in mind and how many i would have to order. i will try and find out about the 510 and 4081.
remember, there would be no shipping charge from china to me, and i think domestic shipping should be at the most $4.95 since you can get a lot of stuff in a small flat rate priority box

I ordered from dyishack - the 6 10ml bottles upgraded to 20ml during their memorial day sale and others as well.....finally have some good VG juice headed my way...yay!
