Has anyone heard of the Truman-i510?

So like I said in my intro post, my hubby and I bought a cheap eco-cig. My hubby seems to like it, but I think it's gross. My parents smoke TW and love it. My mom has the Titan and my dad has the Tornado. I am getting a Tornado as we speak and am very excited about it. So long story short, I am looking some something comparable to the Titan for my hubby but I don't want to spend a lot in case he doesn't like it. So has anyone heard of the Truman-i510? Their kit comes with all sorts of goodies for only $20+ shipping.
It's pretty cheap, but not sure why. Can't find hardly any info online about them...any info is appreciated!

That's certainly not a bad price and Trueman has been around for awhile. I dealt with them quite awhile ago on M401 items. Keep in mind, though, that you will be paying shipping from China. If you're set on a 510, try cignot.com. You may also want to check out the $29.99 Riva 510 at Liberty-flights (be sure to click the 20% button in the upper left corner).

I've never heard of them, personally, but I'd be wary of any online retailer that only accepts wire transfers and paypal as a form of payment. There are plenty of ECF approved vendors here under Forum Suppliers.

Liberty Flights, Totally Wicked, Vapor Kings, Vapor4Life, Digital Ciggz, Litecigusa, Good Prophets, just to name a few, are very good sites to consider.

Also some people have posted about delays on shipments from China due to customs hold ups.

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to check out some other vendors and see what they have. It's all just so confusing! I didn't realize all the product that was out there. Up here in BFE, we are lucky if people even know what an e-cig is.

Trueman is reputable and I haven't seen problems with individual shipments from China, only large ones. On the other hand, there is not nearly the price savings or larger selection in ordering direct that there used to be, so I would definitely recommend any of the US companies listed above.

Hi, and welcome, Jellie.... Oh, they know what ecigs are in NY - they are trying to ban ecigs there - you might want to stock up on supplies. We are sooooo hoping their next steps with the ban fails.

Yes I have heard of and ordered them in the past. It is basically a cheap knock-off of the standard 510's and are made with a cheaper metal. Nothing wrong with them and they dont feel any different but just another rendition of the 510. If you order 1 you need to make sure you tell them manual or standard because if not they will include 1 battery of each.

Also you may want to get in touch with them before ordering because China is on Spring Holiday until Feb 11. Hope this helped.

I've been to that area of BFE during my, um, more...interesting days in my youth. From what little I remember it was nice country.

Upstate is the only part of NY I'd ever want to go to anyway.

skye, yes, ny is on a crazy bandwagon as we usually are. but we are so far upstate we barely have summer anymore and sometimes we are the last to know anything. pretty stupid thing my state is starting and i'm sorry about that, but you know how government is...if they can't take it or tax it, it's not happening!

yes, it's lovely here most of the time. winters are harsh, but the summers are amazing. just a little too short. i don't care for a lot of the state either

I love snow and am a hearty sort, so I got along fine.

Heck, none of my current vehicles have heaters and I drive a minimum of 2 hours a day. Have to scrape the interior of the windshield every so often though, but that's the worst part.

Truman i510 is probably just a clone 510 since they say it's their cheapest ecig and they also sell one without the "i"

Titan is some kind of 510. I do not think it is Joye (I have one and it does not look like a Joye atty). Mine was packed with the wrong carts (had Mega carts which won't fit all the way into a standard 510 atty)

We got the menthol and then ordered 36mgs from tasty vapor because it was cheaper. So thanks everyone for all the advice! I can't wait to get it...
