I have 2 eGo 1100mAh batteries (Sunset is the brand stamp on them). 1 of them (the one I bought for my wife) is acting a little strangely (though maybe it's the first one that's acting up, I'm not sure):

For starters, it will only charge with the charger that came with it. Even though the batteries appear to be identical (except for color, hers is chrome and mine is black, and the light on the buttons are different colors too) it won't charge on my charger, though they appear to both be generic eGo chargers.

Second (and perhaps more concerning) is the fact that hers rattles ever so slightly when the battery is shaken back and forth. Mine doesn't.

Aside from those 2 issues, the battery seems to work fine. Should I be concerned about this? Should I order her a new battery?

I know that in the future I will order myself a new battery, but I'm holding off on that since we just started this about 2 weeks ago.

I would be guessing that the center contact is pushed back a little on her battery, so it works with her charger. OK, just use it on hers, and don't worry about adjusting the center contacts, because you may not be familiar on how to adjust. As far as it rattling, I wouldn't worry to much. Here is rule #1, do not leave on charger unattended or while asleep. I would even consider putting batteries on charge into something to protect in case of fire.

Get a couple backup batteries. You will need them. Nothing is worse then your batt going out when you are doing good, and then not having a backup.

itis, like so many of us do (possibly the reason why a brick and mortar vape shop opens every 7 minutes (not an actual statistic - I just made it up - I just wanted to use an antivaper spokesperson technique)

you need backups for your back ups,,,,,,,,

meaning at least 3 egos per person, 2 chargers per person, and backups for whatever delivery device you use,,,,,,and extra juice,,,,if you lose a bottle, you don't want cigarettes to be your only option,,,,,

it sounds expensive, but if you set aside just a few dollars each week (think how much you used to spend smoking), you'll have them in no time,,,,,,,,

Oh, I know. It kind of makes me ill when I think of how much I've spent on smoking over the years. I'm going to set aside the money and (after Christmas shopping is done) get more equipment. I have some new tanks coming (ProTank 2 for me, ProTank 2 Mini for her) soon, which will help; then I just need to convince her that it's a good move to buy additional parts.
