Possible second hand smoke or any adverse effects of ecigs

Hi,

I'm quite new to the forum, and I've recently ordered my first e cigarette. I'm quite excited about going digital!

I wanted to know if anybody knows of any negative effects of smoking this near anybody? I have other family members in the house, and although I plan on doing this only in a bathroom that not many people use, I just want to be safe.

I currently smoke outside, but thought that being able to use the ecigs inside the house would be a big plus (especially in this cold weather!)

If anybody has any input, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

There is no definitive answer at this time, because no tests have been done.

I think when you have spent enough time studying the possible contents of what we exhale, you won't worry about it anymore.
I can tell you that I would feel 100% confident vaping around my own child if I had one.

But I don't hesitate to vape around my wife, or anyone else in my family or extended family.

And I am also 100% confident that I am not exhaling anything that is going to harm anyone.
At least when you consider the amounts present in the exhaled vapor.

There hasn't been sufficient research to be certain about the dangers of secondhand vapor, but considering that PG - a main component in e-juice - is also being used in bronchial inhalers to treat a variety of ailments, and that nicotine is not a carcinogen, any dangers associated with the vapor from an e-cigarette would obviously have to be associated with the added flavors. If you are worried about it, keep flavors to a minimum and choose only those that are known to be safe to inhale (which would assure that whatever you exhale is safe for those around you).

With that said, I've yet to meet someone who knows someone that died of inhaling the smell of absinthe, cherry or menthol. I vaped those today and the only "reaction" that our crew had to those was "Can I try that?".
