Yes Warp. You could thread a long rod like Laredo did, cut it into pieces. Then you could use a tap and thread your spacer bushing then just lock tite the piece of threaded rod on the bushing. That makes a rock solid connection.

Ohhhhhh, no, i am thinking more about my RCA adapters, i could thread a pipe that would fit on an RCA one side and the atty on the other, that would be perfect!
Would make thinks much easier.

So why was it kept secret all this time and people in the forum going crazy trying to figure out what to use for a 510 connector?
Or did i miss a thread about it?

What are you trying to say Laredo? Are you saying I stole your link and used it in another thread? Do you want credit for the original link? Am I supposed to remember everything I read and where I read it from?

All I did in the tap & die thread was put all the information together in one post, I never claimed to have found the "Secret source" for taps & Dies. So yes, obviously you did originally post the link on ECF to victors. Should I have given you credit for the original link? If I had remembered where I saw the original link and who posted it, I would have definitely given you credit. If that's what is generating the sarcasm I will gladly ask a mod to edit the post and put your name as the original member who found victors machinery exchange.

If that's not enough I will ask that the post be deleted and the you can spend 2 hours putting all the "OTHER" pertinent information together yourself and make your own thread.

Like I have said before ,you cant do anything anymore more without pissin someone off...
This is one of the many reasons I don't comment to often...

I made up six feet of 8mm x 0.75 in about a minute a while back. Put the die in a vise, chucked up some correctly sized brass tubing in the hand drill, and drove it though the die. Worked great, just make sure you use plenty of lubrication or cutting fluid, it gets hot!
