Hi guys!
I am working on my first mod box and I have all the components wired up and ready to go in. My issue is that I have decided to change the configuration slightly and it is leaving me with too little room inside to squeeze in the big 18650 batts I intend to use. So my question is....
Can I remove the springs from the negative end of the batt terminals and solder over them, then sand down the solder so it is just a hump (like the positive end)? I suppose I could use positive ends on both sides but I am fresh out of them.
Seems to me that this would be similar to using copper tape, which I have seen on a few mods lately. Anyway, let me know if you can...I know virtually nothing about electronics, although I can program a VCR (but that is now a dying art form).
Thanks,
Greg
