Possible to turn a manual EGO into an auto by combining the guts from two batts?

I need an auto "mini" ego like below. I've looked thoroughly and I do not believe anyone manufactures them. How hard would it be to take a larger auto ego, and combine the auto feature with the manual mini case and battery? Assuming I was careful but not a modding guru. Thanks! PS I need it for an e-pipe I'm hacking together.

I just picked a couple eGo/510 auto mini batteries (350mah) from ikenvape.com:
Automatic eGo 510 Battery

Only comes in one color -- green. However it's generally pretty easy to scrape the paint off, and I prefer a stainless finish anyway.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the price -- $10.99. Slightly more expense than you were looking for, but it's the only one I've been able to find.

This sounds interesting ...

I've found a few 420 mAh automatic batteries, but they're still a bit longer than I want for a stealth PV that can pass as a pocket pen ...

I'm about to dissect the first one I bought, its getting weak, doesn't hold a charge. If I can salvage the automatic circuit and transfer it into a 350 mAh battery case, I've got my wish ...

Taking it along with me to visit a friend this weekend, he's really good at micro-circuitry and at cobbling things together. If we can figure out exactly how the automatic feature works, and surgically transplant it into the smaller case, I'll try to get pictures ...
