A carton of cigarettes is what?

Some people here have spent THOUSANDS on mods and stuff.

You don't have to, Sweet Tater! Trust me.

It is going to be great when you come back after getting a VV mod and a good delivery device, and you get a taste of some serious vapor.

You don't need a mod, Sweet Tater. Nobody needs a mod. Trust me. 4.0 volts is 4 volts is 4 volts. Whether it comes from an eGo-C Twist or a Darwin.

Acutally I'm a recent quitter of "rolling my own" cigs. Hubby & I bought the Tops brand machine, tubes & bags of tobacco & have been saving money for about 2 yrs., that way. So any and all of this is much more expensive. The thought of quitting the e-cigs has crossed my mind recently. But a customer of mine has been telling me and my co-workers about her device (which I don't remember the name) & that she gets her joose from KBV's. She also talked about how she came here and found out TONS of info to help her get to where she is today.

You know, I first typed that with "battery" instead of "mod", and that's what I meant.
She's not even getting 4 volts.
If she's lucky, she's getting 3.2

I don't really understand how or when a battery became a mod, or perhaps it had something to do with mAh, you know.
It's a battery.

Okay, it's late, and I'm getting a bit punchy.

Good luck Lisa.

I started vaping three and a half years ago. My first kit was Green Smoke--I found it online. It worked, it got me off cigs. Then I found this forum and promptly sent my GS back (they offer 30-day guarantee).

I spent hours reading and educating myself. I learned how to take apart a cartomizer, how to use a multimeter and I'm really good with an exacto knife and a dremel. This Forum has saved my life. There are so many great people here.

Read, learn and draw your own conclusions. I can only tell you what I know. After years of vaping and trying many different batteries and mods, I've settled on the eGos and coil changeable clearomizers. However, I still use superminis, sometimes, especially when I'm out and about. I still use cartomizers, from time to time.

Blu is a good starter. Some day, if you feel that you need something more powerful, try an eGo-C Twist. It offers a variable voltage at a very low price, and it's been a game changer for me. But it's a fat manual battery, it may look too intimidating for you at the moment. Enjoy your Blu if it's working for you, buy some blank cartos and fill them with KB flavors if you like them, and celebrate your freedom form cigarettes. That's the best advice I can give you--for now!

Good luck and happy vaping!

I know that she's not getting 4 volts from her Blu, it was just an example. But there are so many people here who are convinced that 4 volts from a Provari is somehow better than the same 4 volts from a Spinner. Well, as you know, it ain't. :p

And yes, I'm familiar with Ohm's law and I know all about amp limits on smaller batteries, but that only matters if you want to vape at 20 watts, which most people don't usually do. :)

I don't really understand how or when a battery became a mod, or perhaps it had something to do with mAh, you know.

A battery is a battery. I agree. :D It's just a battery. But some are made to look like a crack pipe or a .... or a car muffler. Some people love the look, others don't. I used a Provari. It's a great APV. I just don't want it. I like the small form and portability of my eGos.

Okay, it's late, and I'm getting a bit punchy.

I didn't mean to sound punchy either. If I did, I apologize.

Hi Sweet Tater;
I have property in Starkville near MSU. I am new to the forum but have been vaping for over a year now. I smoked 2 packs of tobaccos a day. My Preference is for the KR808 models of e-cigs. Where I work, I can't walk around with something that looks like a motorcycle exhaust pipe. I have a family and I am trying to do something healthy for myself...not have bottles of e-liquids and strange looking devices about. My family is on a budget. After 2 packs a day of grits, with the American Vapor Company rechargeable batteries and disposable cartomizers I literally save a car payment a month.
