+1 - typical weather aand work sucked the fun right out

yup. Plus it's kind of hard riding a bike to a wedding in a nice black suit only to get rained on. Didn't make good business sense to keep it.

And I have a restaurant on the eastside of the mountains ,up in the okanogans and it's kinda hard carrying all of the tools etc. I needed to run back and forth 6 hours each way. Had to buy a nice little truck.

and going blind in one eye, it didn't make good life sense to keep riding. But I'll always be a biker:)

OK, Night Owls.
Who's awake?
I've got a trivia question for ya.
I heard tonight that actor Lee Marvin once said he served along side Capt. Kangaroo at Iwo Jima. Marvin was a Marine Scout Sniper during WWII.

True or False?

most likely true. I know capt kangaroo was a well decorated vet.

I come from a long line of night owls, from both sides of the family. I haven't went to sleep before 3am in a good 6 years or so. I don't have any trouble sleeping when I get there though.

Most jobs I've had have been 3rd shift to, I currently work sub contracted through a cleaning company, handling my accounts at night, so the pattern continues.

I see nothing wrong with it though, Myself and normal people still share the same amount of daytime. Because when they get home from work, I'm waking up, We go about our days then they go to sleep, Then I'm off to work. (I think that makes sense... lol)

I liked working third shift. I didn't have to deal with management, for the most part I got left a note asking me to do such and such. In the morning when the boss showed up, we would BS and grab a cup of coffee go over a few things and that was about all I ever had of contact with a supervisor. I worked at a hospital as the boiler operator. Athough I got hired because I knew how to buff floors (The Army won't let you leave without knowing how to do that). I also had to know how to run windows point and click was a little different in 1990. Plus I had to have a strong stomach, because I was in charge of the morgue and when someone died I would have to put them in a body bag and take them to the coolers.

Many nights I was the only guy in the whole hospital, that might have been the strangest part of the job. I went from the infantry where there were zero women, to working only with women. (I like women but prefer working with men)

As you can guess it was a small hospital but it was the only one in the county, the only emergency room as well. I worked there untill the day it closed, I was the last shift and locked the doors on the place. $6.65 cents an hour, but I kind of miss the job anyway. Over a hundred and thirty jobs gone out of a town with less than 2,000 people.

Hey Brad I saw a spot on one of the cable news stations about girl guitars... think they call them Daisy Rocks or something..Pretty smart woman to find a niche market.. What kind do you make? Do you have a website?

PS.. and do you think you could make a guitar out of a pencil sharpener? HHAHAH sorry couldn't resist

I'll say this, Daisy Rocks are not all that bad. Really very good for a low cost guitar. The 3/4 scale is nice it's actually stays in tune and plays easy.

The acoustic guitars I make are all pre-sold. As for the rest of what I sell I'll pm you. I don't want to spam this site. This summer is going to be nuts. I have a ton of gigs set up. In fact I am still up from last night's gig and I have another one tonight.

I'm over tired right now, you know what I mean, so wooped that your brain won't shut off??
