Tonight i've managed to vape 8mg for the past 3 hours. (a mellow chocomint flavor) but i'm still fairly amped up. Any ather insomniacs out there who vape too much at night and then can't sleep?

what's your trick? this low nic vape is pretty blah compared to my usual 26 mg 100% pg menthol favorite. Do folks find that amping up the flavor can compensate for the lack of nicotine?

also more generally, do folks find that vaping keeps them awake at night but that smoking analogs helps you sleep at night?

interestingly in the daytime analogs and vaping keep me more alert. I read in a quit smoking class that the key difference between the stimulant effect of smoking and the calming effect where due to depth of toke, length of hold. can't remember which was supposed lead to which.

know any vaping styles that soothe rather than stimulate?

I'm just an insomniac by nature and I have been since childhood...well...unless I'm a passenger in a car or an airplane. My parents used to love to travel with me because I'd sleep most of the way, but I digress.

I vape A LOT! 18mg all the time, sometimes 24mg when I really feel the need. I gave up worrying about the insomnia and every once in a while I'll take one Tylenol PM about two hours before I want to go to bed. That seems to help. It's very mild and non-addictive. I've also started taking my vape stick with me and reading in bed. It calms me and even though I'm still vaping, it's like a signal to my brain that makes me drowsy.

I stopped fighting with the times when I just can't sleep no matter what. It's not worth the frustration, so I just go with it.

Do what I did: have kids!

I take off for work @ 4:45am, drive 35mins, spend 8hrs, then 35mins home. By the time I get home, around 2:30-3:30 there are errands to run, dinner to help out with (wife cooks but we have 5yo, 3yo and 1yo that needs to stay out of the kitchen), baths, bedtime stories, 400x hugs, etc. I'm lucky if I get to bed by 10:30pm. Even with vaping constantly when not around the kids, I'm demolished.

In all seriousness, slowing down, letting your heart rate return to normal (nic amps it up), is prolly the best advice as others have already mentioned.

Good luck!

I have Insomnia, I vape 24MG most of the time and just as of late have cut back to 18mg during the night time and trying to cut back to the 18MG full time if I can (it's tough but working on it) I find my heart racing late at night big time after vaping all day and night and while laying in bed when I finally get there it's very hard to shut down after vaping all day and night. I'm also finding as of late that vaping has been raising my blood sugar levels.
