Well here I am again. It's still early yet though, only 2am.

This was the last Dead Concert I saw. This part freaked my buddy out so we went and ate some calamari from one of the venders and got him mellowed out and ready for the next set.

This was in Laguna Seca California. Hot as heck that day.

That was really good Brad but I had a hard time dancing to it. I just couldn't find the "1".
I never did learn that Deadhead twirly dance where it doesn't matter where the friggin' "1" is.

I'm confident now that you recognize my avitar to be who it is. Is yours you?

Yep that's me.

Some people think it is a kid in a old man mask, I can't tell, but his arms look young... maybe I am just gullible, but I have seen some pretty good dancers in bars that were up in age. I've had a lot of time to watch dancing since hubby has played in them for last 40 yrs. I don't think I could bust those moves tho.. heh

Looks like an old dude having a blast to me. I could be wrong, it's not like it would be the first time.

I have been playing guitar or drums in bars since 1984, my wife has never once came and seen me play. She just can't stand drunks hitting on her. Can't say I blame her, plus she has heard every song I play about a hundred times while I am getting it right.

I admit I haven't been in years but my husband was the only one married in the band he was in the longest. I found it very interesting to be sitting at the same table in between two women that were there to see the same guy and I was the only one that knew.. HAHAH sticky situations for sure.

Oh no that's just too much. I used to call our lead guitar player Don not his name, I'd say Don, Don Juan paging Don Juan. Honestly spending years in the bars I really am glad I'm married. It's much nicer just going home and curling up with your best friend than trying to wade through the girls that are at the bars now.

The worst is playing ladies nights. I throw a party every year with all the money going to the school for the after school program. It's a chocolate social. We auction off all kinds of stuff, including the volunteer firemen who wait on all the ladies. Damn, these chicks get out of control. We went through two kegs, hundreds of beers and who knows how many fifths of booze. If you think guys get out of hand I'll tell you what, they got nothin on the ladies. Not that I mind getting flashed, but come on gals, if you fall off the table it's not going to be a good thing. Last year we cleared about 6 grand. It was fun and all for a great cause.

It keeps getting bigger each year. Ted Nugent donated a set of antlers last year. And I think this year Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad is supposed to stop in and play a few.

It's kind of cool watching the ladies have a blast. The funny thing is that it's thrown at the Catholic Church reception hall and the Mayor starts it off with a speech. Cars are parked all the way around the block and then the husbands show up and drive their wives and friends home.
