Yeah, funny how it is so moving.

I bought this soundtrack on the day it came out and listened to it incessantly.
It just put me in a whole other place...

It is one of the pieces I would describe as possibly the best neo-classical works of this past decade.
I feel that strongly about it. It is music that speaks to the soul.

I get out that way once in a while. Half my family lives in Salinas. I lived out there for about 8 years or so. My wife grew up in Castroville and I played the clubs in Montery and Santa Cruz.

I'm revisiting the movies, Lord of the Rings.
I'm just finishing The Fellowship of the Ring and I'm crying at every other scene.
I read at least 3 times Tolkein's books when I was young. I've seen these movies before and enjoyed them. Something's different now. I'm older. Everything has a deeper meaning and I cry freely when I see my life's experience suddenly mirrored back to me in familiar things.
My wife says it's male menopause. It's a good thing. I refused to cry for all of my adult life even from grief due to loss of family and friends. Now I can't help it.
It's finally caught up with me.

I know the feeling!!! Too many movies make me tear up and I find myself making an excuse to goto the bathroom so my kids don't catch me up and ridicule me all night. LOL. 3 kids and a wife who drive me nuts and I get softer in my old age instead of grouchy and cranky. Go figure. LOL.
