Post Office lost my HHV package!

I ordered for the first time from Heather's Heavenly Vapes on the 12th, and was really looking forward to getting the shipment, based on what everyone's been posting about them. I had ordered 30ml each of Bleeding Heart, Dragon's Breath, Bah-In, and Heavenly Waffles, and boy, was I excited - I couldn't wait to try them! I just got a new bunch of clearomizers, and they're sitting here waiting to be filled with that "heavenly" e-juice!

So.

I got the email that my order had been shipped Priority Mail on 12/17, and have been tracking it ever since. Yesterday morning, it said "out for delivery". The mailman came & went: nothing.

Kept checking the mailbox every hour for the remainder of yesterday (in case he decided to come back) and all day today. Nothing. Finally, I checked the tracking again, even though the last status was "out for delivery", and it said it was delivered 12/21 at 2:10 pm. Then it said "notice left" at 3:45 pm! If he left a notice, he didn't leave it here. And why would you leave a notice if it was already delivered? This mailman is seriously confused. Just called the PO & explained the whole thing; someone's supposed to call me Monday.

Please forgive my venting & ranting! Just had to share my sadness (and fury). And I know it's not the end of the world (that was yesterday ;)), but what a letdown - and right before a holiday, of course, so it'll be dragged out even longer. :(

I have seen 'delivered' notices when the package was not delivered & 'notice left' updates when I was standing at the door waiting. In my case it meant someone updated the status incorrectly & I either HAD the package redelivered or I had to go pick it up. My post office usually unpacks the truck and says you can pick the package up after 4PM.

So when you get your juice, you know you need to let HHV steep for a bit, right? You need to give them (IMHO) a minimum of a week. There is a thread on here for HHV Tobacco Flavors or something like that and Hulamon gives very detailed instructions that will maximize your vaping experience by steeping with HHV products. My advice, order your next order after you are sure the flavors are what you hoped for. Dragon's Breath and Bleeding Heart are both standard order items for me (DF for me, BH for my girl). I try to stay 30 days ahead. That makes the mailman watch much less dramatic. It is difficult for me to imagine a day that does not begin with coffee and Gandalf.

Like others have told you here, I get that same message on tracking and it usually means my delivery is coming in a day or so.

Sorry that that is happening to you.
Made the same expierience with a SuperT mod. I was standing at the mail box!
After calling they said it is on the truck and no one was home thats why they left a note. What note:confused:
Anyway the next day I had a stern conversation with my mailman and all is fine since.
I know for a fact that they sometimes just run through without delivering everything just in order to get the route done.

I feel your pain. They did that to me this week. They missed the delivery. You'll have it on Monday.

Now today I was excited to see that my liter of nic base made it in town in 24 hours. I had it delivered to my work address. So I go there. There's a notice in the damned mailbox. So I wait for the mail lady to come to my home. I hand the notice to her. She tells me she didn't bring it, because we are closed on Saturdays. AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!! Monday now. LOL

I've read that you're supposed to let it steep. And I was planning to, after sneaking a test-vape or two! Does all this delay in arrival count as steeping?

Not really :( Steeping usually starts after the caps are removed. If you got samples, they should be ready since they make them ahead of time. Larger sizes are made when you order them. You can try them, if they taste meh, steep them and try them at different intervals.

I feel your pain! USPS is really messed up right now. I've had the same thing happen in the past and usually the package shows up within the next day or so. Lately though, I've had two packages show up missing. One was in town and ready for delivery, but they decided it needed a vacation in Florida for some reason. It took over two weeks to get that package. The vendor in that case was aware of the situation and offered to resend the package, but since the package was still in the usps system I told them to wait. My other missing package was marked as delivered in the tracking system and has never been seen again. I filed a complaint with usps, but they basically told me that since the package was marked as delivered that they considered their job done. When I told the vendor what happened they resent the order and I received it within a couple of days. Although I was glad to get the package, I hated the fact that the vendor is the one who was really hurt by the whole ordeal. I have to say, we have some of the best vendors in the world here on ecf. Too bad usps doesn't take a few lessons in customer service from them.

Hopefully, your package will show up for you. I've been ordering vaping supplies online for over two years now, and this is the first time a package has gone completely missing. The odds are in your favor.
