They have a budget of around 100 million in tax $. It is called the Postal Service Fund. Considering what our egg headed leaders are spending now, it is a drop in the bucket.

The PSF is mainly for disability type mailings, oversea ballots and some other stuff.

Yes Larry it is the Pension that is killing the post office. It is around 5-6 billion per year. The are the only government agency that has to pre-fund it. If all governmental agencies had to pre-fund their pension we would be very very very broke. Unfortunately Pension are killing everything. They were poorly designed.

Well if you google it the USPS financial news stories they are reporting red ink in the billions year after year, I would venture a guess that Uncle Sam picks up the slack, one way or the other it's our money they use.

10-15 billion in loans from the treasury.

Why don't vendors give us a choice for shipping. I'm waiting on a book I ordered 3 months ago. Amazon won't refund and USPS says "it's not our problem". It's in the facility 5 min. From my house supposedly, but they can just
"walk in and get my mail, it

Ups can get a package from tx to china over night, why isn't that an option for us to choose our shipper..

I'll tell you one thing,that if the postal service is ever privatized,we will be spending more on postage the our vaping supply's and that is a fact that i would hate to think about or pay for.

Many companies have deals with shippers. It is all about the money.

WELL my ,,,myfreedomsmokes order is at the post of as of 8:30 this morning.

My SI order has departed KS. city MO. today,,,but it has to go to columbia mo. before it comes down to my post office.

so if i don't get it tomorrow,it will be monday at the soonest(that a word ?)

so i will go down tomorrow morning after 8:30 and check and pick up the myfreedomsmokes order.

i know that all the bragging on mfs reviews page is not a bunch of hype.
so cheap e-liquid here i come from now on.,,,,unflavored liquid at about .06 a mil.

Many companies have deals with shippers. It is all about the money.

I understand that, but why not give the customer a choice? I can walk into ups and get my mail as soon as they open, sometimes my mail guy won't how till 5.
Id even pay the shipping, which we already do. If I'm being charged shipping I want a choice as to who will ship.

well both my orders were delivered today to the post office,,so both vendors orders showed up at the same time.

the tracking on the SI order was a bunch of bullsh$$ ,,so i guess you can't trust the tracking info till it is delivered.

so i will say amen to this thread and let it rest.
