Post subscriptions - email on every reply?

Is there a place (setting) somewhere, I cant find, that makes the forum only send one notice of replies to a subscribed thread until I check them?

Currently I'm receiving one on each reply - dang, that's gonna get annoying....

In the same dropdown box you should be able to choose daily and weekly by email. I don't use email subscriptions but i would suspect they are what you are looking for.

Unfortunately, you can only setup notifications to be Instant(every reply), Daily(once a day), or weekly(once a week). They would be a nice feature though and I do see your point.

Man, that's too bad if that's the only option - I Admin/moderate a few other forums and they do that automatically and you get a notice that;
"More replies may be posted, but you won't receive any more notifications until you read the topic."

Maybe it's in the program as one of the others say;
"If you have configured in your control panel to receive immediate topic reply notifications, you may receive an email for each reply made to this topic. Otherwise, only 1 email is sent per board visit for each subscribed topic. This is to limit the amount of mail that is sent to your inbox."

Maybe I'll try un-checking instant notification...

I think it's dependent on the forum software being used as to what options are available.

Yea, after a little digging, I'm beginning to think so too Angus...

Guess I just haven't had the issue before now - go figure
