poland, and the brassy lands of google
Nice red one BJ. 5cardstud led me down the path of soldering a spring to the brass screw of the pot and going from there. I tried a M2 spacer with a watch gear screwed to that but it just about cut my finger. Currently I'm using a longer spring and a screw in the end which can pop out for finger adjustment and I can coil the whole thing into the bottom of the mod. There's all sorts of practical plastic knobs and gears in a standard 1AA analog clock body, especially the time adjust knob, and mamu found some comfortable knobs that have a set screw for attaching to a post.

I epoxy'd a steel 9mm casing to the Madvapes VV circuit POT, so I could feed it through the 1/4" Bocote that I made my box out of. I didn't want to pop the primer, but had to, so I didn't have an expolding accident lol. It was neccessary to cut the casing wall down with a pipe cutter. I filled it with epoxy and then centered it on the pot knob. Works well and looks badazz, too! =)
