Actually, since april, I never lost an atty... 'twas bound to happen sooner or later.

But today the 3v tenergys arrived. Got the atty nice and wet, and swore like an informed citizen I would never let em get dry and take short vapes.

I wish I had a picture of me hitting that first cloud off a 510 atty at 6v.

It kinda would look like, when at 6 months, you gave a baby his first taste of white sugar. Kinda like a mix of "oh my god" and that odd facial contortion that says "you son of a .... WHY didn't you TELL ME about this SOONER*&(#&@^!!!!!"

I felt as if I had never really vaped before.

Oh man. The 801's seem to work, although I did kill my oldest, lowest resistance one on the 6v today. Got another one going that is working well. Love the 801 at 6v. 4 atty's a day is kinda tuff, tho. Hope it don't happen again soon or I'll be vapeless.

I need some serious help here. Mebbe there's a way to step the Chuck down a volt that would enable me to use 510's on this but geez I suck at hardware. Maybe 901? Hari Kiri is not an option. Yet.

510's really don't like 6V. They are just too low in resistance. Even when they don't pop they are too harsh @ 6V.

801's on the other hand, love 6V vaping. I would stick to the 801s for 6V and save your 510s for 4.2V. JMO

see, Ive vaped 510s and 901s on the Chuck at 6v and never have any problems....Strange!!! i wish u the best of luck tho!!!!!!! Maybe try buying those cheap .79 cent disposable 3v batts from china? that way ur at 6v and not 7.4 when fully charged? Dis ones are 3v everry time, never more.

I only vape 6v abt once a day tho, not my all day thing, but worth a try?

But, like Highping said, 801s are known for lovin HV-maybe try gettinng an adapter from altsmoke and some cheap $5 attys from heaven gifts?

Thanks HP and CTJ- left for work after this post and had great experience with a 801 all night- already had the altsmoke adapter. It's a pretty sweet combo altho the length of the thing with the 801 body is kinda looooong- but, workable.

I just... just ... man.. that hit off the 510... I'll be 'chasing the dragon'

Maybe since it was my first 6v hit, I've over-romanticized it. I am curious about a 901 now; but don't have that adapter. I may have to spring for one and see what I think. That would make cartomizers triable too if I get the right adapter, etc.
