I believe the leaking is caused by the fact that It dry hits but is not empty
This is a big mini atty(oxymoron) but it needs time to wick for that next hit. I am using a 2.5 ohm SS cannon on a TTTEliquids VMU. Now with that out of the way let's get to the meat of my post.
I've have used shorty 801 drippers from various vendors except ikv and have liked none of them up until a little while ago. I was just fine with the 510 and 306 (plus the occasional carto) and did not need anything else. I took a leap last order and got his 901 and feel in love. For me it was the best atty I had ever had.
Got the cannon is not 2 or 3 days ago and yestersday decided to give it a test and try out my cannon. I so cranked my VMU up to 5.2v after 12 drops priming(taken from switched's review) and started happily vaping. I did get a dry hit sooner than I expected and dripped 4 more drops thinking it was out( not out of place considering the voltage and vapor I was getting) and that was when I got my first leak... But instead of blowing it out, I unscrewed and blew from the thread in and pushed the juice toward the top, and lo and behold there was still a ton of juice in the cannon... So I learned that this atty isnt long pull friendly right away.
So far my thoughts on the new stealth series cannon
SS 2.5ohm cannon

Pros
-tons of vapor
-I feel that the draw is just right on this specific atty
-idk if the extra voltage or just the cannon but in all honesty I can say this is the second time I've actually got a nic rush while vaping(first being dual coils)
- the throat hit is intense at least for me going from using lr ikv 1.8ohm 901s to the cannon, causes the cannon to take my breath away occasionally.

Cons
-the wicking seems to be the only issue right now maybe after the break in it will wick better. Besides that The issue of leaking and flooding stems from that problem

Observations
- this atomizer is the ugly Betty of the ikv line and the strangest one I've seen to date.
- the attys hull or side wall resemble a SS bullet jacket or casing so idk if it's intended but I imagine that the cannon on one of switcheds mod would look good.
Thank you all for reading I'll post back in a bit with a detailed follow through.

All I did was turn it upside down for a sec. if it was too full and the wick was dry so it would re-wet the wick. Worked great and it didn't get dry any more.

I really think there is a lot of user error with the Cannon's, and by that I mean people who are not use to using these or the 801 Atty and that's not a knock but this is no 510/306/901 and the 801 has always ran a bit different then these other type of Atty's. People are asking so many questions about them it really makes a lot of sense to me that many aren't use to running an 801.

These Atty's are pretty consistent, I purchased a large order of them besides the Beta ones I tested that are still all going strong accept for one Atty that had a funky draw and went bad early on me. Every other one has worked flawlessly and there putting out consistently very good vapor with terrific flavor and working extremely well on my Reo Grand and dripping with them on my Provari is also working very well.

It takes some time to properly prime and break in these Atty's, if you haven't used or aren't use to using and 801 there is a bit of a curve to learning the difference to these Cannons and how the juice flows compared to the 510/901/306. Hold them at a horizontal position once and a while and vape in the horizontal position instead of vertical you will see a difference depending on you juice level, wicking is also very important with these and once you have it so you know how much juice it really takes to run these properly it helps a great deal too, most of all give them a chance to break in and use them for a while, till you get the swing of these Cannons before you judge them and you may find that your opinion might change from what it was on your first vape.

Folks if ya want a good atty with consistent performance you are in the right place. If you are seeking Nirvana without experience, you are in the wrong place. It is as simple as it gets. The Cannons perform as intended. (period) They are not 801s nor are they 510 nor 306s. IMMHO unless you know what you are talking about let's quit the sheet talking. They have their merit and they are not for everyone. For those who do not like then there is other product to include but nit limited to CE2s , clearomizers and dual coils. How is that for sheet talking?

Sheeeeit that was great switcher and mwa. Might I add that those cannons are also great. The only problem I had was TOO MUCH VAPOR. They are fog machines for sure.LOL :):):)

What is frustrating at times 5card is reading some of the posts day in and day out, where at times (to me anyway) folks expectations seem out of wack. It is not their fault as many are still under the clutches of formal withdrawal and seeking satisfaction to quench their thirst. We have all been through it, and thank God with time it settles. Once we free ourselves from the clutches of tobacco, then and only then can we appreciate some of the nuances these developments bring. e.g I normally vape 3-4ml of 16mg a day. Yet on the 3.5 Cannon (which is a tremendous juice hog) I see myself vaping close to 6ml a day with that puppy, and hence in my review I compared it to a 426 Hemi with dual quads.

Dripping is a delicate balance regardless of which atty we use, some are more finicky than others. Like people or children they each have their own personalities that we need to understand in order to get maximum benefits from the relationship.

OTOH folks do not like to hear that they may be doing something wrong, and that is totally natural as well. However, vaping styles and liquids used will definitely alter performance as a good portion of us know. I guess I was fortunate to learn the ropes first time around and have been privileged with extended service from my equipment. It is not uncommon to get 6-8 months out of an atty, but when I switched to all VG i was blowing them out in 2-3 weeks. That was totally unsat! I fell back and regrouped and now my accustomed longevity has returned. Isaac and I laugh, I am his worst customer because my gear simply lasts. OTOH it goes to show that good equipment with proper care will perform and outlast some of the other stuff on the market, and hence WHY we shop here.

One myth that is out there and has propagated like the plague is dry burning atomizers. Everyone swears by it, but too many a no no. It shortens atomizer life. It was designed to resurrect an atty from the dead, or then again one that was clogged. Sure they will last, but how long could they have lasted without dry burns? Dollars to donuts a hell of allot longer.

I know Isaac does not believe in dry burns nor does he promote it. AAMOF he is strongly against it. Now from a vendors perspective that is an interesting observation, he should be in the other camp. Nope! That is not what Isaac is about. He is about brining to the community a satisfying experience, not necessarily padding his wallet. Once again that is why we shop here.

I could go on and on, but folks get the gist... :)

WOW ! let's gang up on all the folks who happen to post their honest findings about a new product. No wait a second, you guys are right. I don't have a clue what I am doing. I've never had to drip before, this was my first time. I'm certainly not intelligent enough to try dripping different ways with different amounts and waiting in different time frames. Maybe these should come with an instruction pamphlet that narrows everything down to the millisecond and a micro drop. IMHO I didn't realize I needed to have a long white coat with a degree in science to get these to work properly.

Seriously....my bad...... maybe when you guys are done with the messenger figuring out how your going to respond to all the negative with a few back to back slams of the people who have spent money here, you could get to the meat of why these things leak!! sheeeeit...get the gist!!!:p

sorry, but you made me a little angry with all that crap

The vapor is great...the atty is built to take the voltage so they should last a long time...the draw is almost perfect and very smooth....but they tend to leak without a perfectionists drip method.

No bodies ganging up on you I hadn't even read anyone but switches thread. The problem is we are tired of reading posts like Ikenvapes this or that is garbage from someone that doesn't have a clue what to do with it. It reminds me of a chopper I once sold. It was the greatest looking bike but was over extended and hard to ride. Now just because I had no problems, because I knew how, this friend thought he could so I let him. He made it about 10 feet and hit a pole.
Just because I love fusions because they fit my vaping style doesn't mean everyone should go out and buy fusions and expect the same outcome. Because when they don't the "this is garbage" thread starts again. Only the people that have the same vaping style will enjoy them. Same as attys. I think the cannons are great but they don't fit my vaping style. Now the 510 gold (not the V2s) I don't care for at all but it's not because they're garbage. It's because they don't fit my vaping style.
If people would find vapers that used the same style vaping as them, then find out what they're using, they would be allot happier. Switched uses VG and drips 306s with no problem and loves them. I couldn't even figure out what to do with one and can't vape vg so does that mean they're garbage? No, it means I don't know how to properly use them and that me and switched have 2 different vaping styles. I use 100%vg BTW.
I'm not out to name call but just to help my fellow vapers anyway I can.

Switched, I hear you and I agree with your general points of view. However, the OP presented these atties what appears as if they are super simple to use without much or any learning curve. They were presented as virtually non-flood-able which would lead potential customers to believe that they don't leak either. IMHO, expectations were set too high unnecessarily resulting in dissatisfaction from those who used these atties as recommended yet received opposite and undesirable results by a few. I just think that if these atties require a learning curve and should be used by experts, it should be noted or mentioned somewhere. I'm not trying to start an argument, I just felt like voicing my opinion on this subject after following this thread for a few days. Thanks.

...............
OK I'm back with some more, as Issac says think of it like a Mega 510 Ego but seriously way better than that. I like to soak my Atty's and I always tend to squank the bottle on the bottom feeder to much and it floods my Atty. I then either have to vape that juice away or unscrew the Atty blow it out and put it back on. You wont have that with these, The cannon is the cannon because of just that, these Attys are pretty much impossible to flood the way I see it and if you like flavor this is the Atty to use, I tried to flood this Atty with 3 of my bottom feeders now and I cant do it and it just keep putting out the same vape after vape. The internals are huge the bridge is huge, there just like the Mini 801 In a way but ya with the bottom like a 510 and it's a great combination how this set up compliments each other.

For those of you that enjoy using bottom feeders I recommend you try these, if you like to drip try these, I just ran this Atty on 5 different bottom feeders and it works like it was made for each one of them, the vapor is super and the flavor like I said is that of an 801 but yet has more TH than an 801 to me. So far I have only ran the 3.5ohm at 6V but I can already tell all of these in the different ohm are gonna be superb just superb !!! These get a total Iken thumbs up from me to put n the shelf for sale :2cool:

I also posted this for those not use to using an 801 =

New post

Where talking about an Atomizer hear, not the newest space shuttle, I never ever said these Atty's don't leak so let's not place words here that weren't said, show me an Atty that cant leak and you will have a huge flooded Atty on your hands. As far as flooding in comparison to 801's and even just this Atty of itself it doesn't flood to dam easy in my opinion and I will stick with that !

Not for nothing but,,,,,as for directions for use of an Atty if you need those then I think you should be using a carto and or beginner gear !

My review was also MY REVIEW ( though the other Beta testers seem to feel close to what I had to say ), that doesn't mean every person on the earth will agree with it, I do think these Atty's are very simple to use in MY OPINION, I'm use to using an 801 it always has been a favorite of mine. seeing 6-10 drops can flood a 510/306/901 I dont see it the same way with the Cannon either.

Lastly, for those who like to use a bottom feeder,,,, I put a post in the tips & Tricks section of the Reo forum about using an O-Ring with this Cannon Atty for the Grand,, the Mini,, and a lot of bottom feeders to make it self feed, for those of you that haven't seen that you may want to check that out ! A simple Danco #83 O-Ring used and put over the Atty and pushed down to the top of the catch cup will turn your Grand ( and other bottom feeders with a catch cup ) into a self feeder or help feeder, once in a while you still will have to give it a squank though but for the most part self feed. It will also give you an adjustable draw and also stop any leakage from spilling over the catch cup. If anyone needs any help with this just PM me and I would be happy to offer a lending hand.

Not sure if everyone is using the 801 Drip tips that Issac sells but they really do work super on these Cannons. I have to think Issac had them built around the Cannon and for its use. They are just far enough away from the Bridge and there fit and the Draw from them is really great, they also work super for dripping into the cannon. I have also been dripping with these Cannon's on my Provari, once you have them primed with the right amount of juice in them and drip 5-6 drops in them you really get quite a few nice hits of flavorful vapor out of this Cannon as well. So not are they only super on my Bottom feeders they also work super for dripping like an 801 should, by the way same on the Provari, put the O-Ring down around the base and you wont have any leakage ;-)
