An old computer power supply will work too.

+1 computer PSU

Especially good if you can find one of the old ATX type with the pushbutton power switch. Splice into one of the red wires at the output, which is +5V at about maybe 20 amps, and one of the black wires (at the output!) for ground. That would make one helluva passthrough! Just be sure not to get your coils too dry, or they'll pop quick at that amperage!

*Use a meter to test FIRST and insulate any exposed wiring and solder connections, ESPECIALLY at the power switch!*

I picked up a portable 5v 3A power supply (uses and charges 4 18650s) with a USB out that runs great. Charges faster than my trustfire charger and at 12,000mah it doesn't require constant charging.

In other words... I can take my passthrough where ever I go. Now, it's only rated at 3A but so far, so good.

I'll upload a pic later if anyone wants to check it out.
