here is a project i enjoyed building
it is a computer power supplymade into a desk top variable voltage supply
it has nice regulated voltages plus a vari voltage board.
and of course a rca vaping port.
vv output is 1 to 11.5 v
i put in a second larger fan glued on with silicon sealer on top.to push air in and the existing fan to exaust air.
both wired to 5v leg. runns verry cool and extremely quiet cant even hear it !
the amperage capability is to high for my taste and safty and not needed for this application .
so i limeted each voltage leg to 10 amps with circut breakers
the front panel also came from that old computer .
now i can runn a hotwire foam cutter to cut foam blocks for carbon fiber layups of battery cases.
the panel lettering is made in pcasa 3 printed out on 5by 7 paper then cut out and glued on
just finnished a wooden feedthrow vapes great...at 5v ..1.8 amps with my present atty.
this thing slides into a painted plywood box and left open in back for ventelation.
now i can play with some current limeting circuts for pv/s
have funn.....rolf
