pre-order, back-order & frustrated customers

i think that some extra info on the puresmoker web-site would help people who are ordering prodigy & pass-thru's. if a customer found the site and was not a member of this forum, and did not know that steve has to assemble each product and is still trying to get caught up, i can understand how they might be frustrated, in having to wait a month to get their order. i mean , i order juice's and parts and what-not from many different suppliers over the inter-net, if i don't recieve it in 7 to 10 days at the most, then i am contacting them wanting to know why. but as a member of the forum, i knew what to expect and then was able to make some plans to help me make it through the wait, ie i ordered some extra batty's and an auto pass-thru to hold me over, which was in my mail-box 3 days after i ordered them.

anyway just a thought

We did update the site to say:

The PRODIGY V1 and PS USBpass. The time has come! Prodigy Units started shipping 6/16/09. We are slowly catching up on pre-orders and will hopefully be caught up by the second week of July. We appreciate everyone's patience!!!

Also, we have kept the order status next to most items set to "Pre-order" so that people know we are still catching up, and the PTs status says "Availability: In stock soon. Order now to get in line. First come first served."
