I prefer to have the option to customize my juice and have it mixed fresh. I can wait for it to steep. Too many people, especially in the US, are the "Give it to me now" generation.

Take a look at vendors that allow customization. You can pick nic level, PG/VG ratio, extra flavor shots, etc. How many bottles of juice would they have to mix up ahead of time to pre-steep? And if they did that, prices would go up. And then the same people that whined for pre-steeped juice would complain about the higher prices.

If you want pre-steeped, order from China. By the time the boat gets here you will have steeped juice.

Not necessarily. The vendor that I order from is taking his standard PG/VG ratio and most popular flavors and making those for a pre-steep line. That way, for those that don't know what works best for them, they can base their opinion on standard offerings at a standard PG/VG ratio and pre-steeped so that they can make informed decisions or alterations even quicker than they would normally. Oh, and the pre-steeped line is cheaper and comes in smaller bottles. The pre-steeped line will also allow for faster processing.

It's not so much about "want it now" culture as much as it is "let's be smart about this" thinking.

Maybe the reason it is cheaper is that it comes in smaller bottles?

I understand the "need" for vendors to pre-steep their juices. That is what the current customers are screaming for. I just hope that customization of juice remains when the dust settles.

You misunderstood what I was saying or I didn't explain well enough. The pre-steeped juices are cheaper AND they come in smaller bottles + the regular sized bottles. What that means is, all bottle sizes they sell, except the 60s, are available in conjunction with 5 mL in the pre-steeped line. Understand?

No 5 mL is available in normal line
5 mL is available in pre-steeped line
10 mL is cheaper in pre-steeped line
30 mL is cheaper in pre-steeped line
No 60 mL is available in pre-steeped line

The juices are not remarkably cheaper, but it is still less. I am not certain if the final prices have been set, but it will be available soon enough.

Lastly, I don't think anyone is "screaming" for pre-steeped juices anymore than other people are begging for customization.

I really don't mind the steeping process as long as I know my juice is made at the time of my order. At this point in my Vaping I've got enough to to the steep time. My prefered method gets a lot of laughs from some of the others, but it works for me.

(That reminds me I need to get the latest batch capped off and moved to a different location).

I do not disagree with the OP's gripe. Ejuice is a unique product in that you purchase it, and then have to wait until it is ready to be consumed.

However, the domestic ejuice industry is primarily made of very small vendors with limited resources. The reason that you do not have to steep Johnson Creek, is that they are a relatively large company (compared to most US ejuice vendors that is) and do sufficient volume to predict and project sales so they can have stock on hand long enough not to require steeping.

I misunderstood your statement. I wasn't trying to be a jerk.

And I have seen plenty of posts regarding pre-steeped juices. I don't care if vendors offer it, unless it takes away the ability to customize if I wish. I see having pre-steeped and fresh mixed juices as viable.
