thanks drew sry about the late reply. been putting some work in on the mod. still waiting on my ss 400. So I decided to go a different route while waiting. Just taking a break. I need to work on my soldering skills.
Keep in mind, when it comes to soldering skills the iron you use can really hinder that. I have used my snap on brand, and a butane style o build my mods and had no probs for the most part, so I am at radio shack all of the time, so I bought a "Nice" one there, I hated it I brought it back after 2 days and went right to home depot and bought a weller brand......and wow what a difference. Just a tip from my experiences. Cant wait to see it done!
reply thanks for the tip I picked up a bernzomatic butane trying to teach myself some soldering i'm getting there but the benzo seems to be haveing problems already.Probably be bringing that one back.
Oh help full tip incase people don't know but nichrome wire may not be needed. I been going throught everything. I'll keep at it it's almost there. Oh yeah I got the SS in stuff is great. I'm playing around with it trying different applications. Sortf of hard with the kids and what not my mind is focused on completing it but there is so many other things to do.

That looks wicked... is it an auto-feeding system? doesn't look like there are any squeezeboxes. Autofeeding is cool

Possible Health Hazard to all those making/using SS Mesh with out properly cleaning. After oxzidiing the SS Mesh. Unravel the mesh and thoroughly clean useing luke warm water. After take a glass of cold water and sipher the water through the mesh sipher spit sipher spit...until all the grey sute is gone.

Just sharing what I discovered. Thought people might be interested in knowing. It is "possible" the grey sute is not good for you. But If you want to smoke it drink it whatever. All the power to you. I do not need credentials for an observation.
Maybe I should have said hey I noticed a grey sute after I oxidzed the mesh and looked at it more closely. Oh after making another I did not notice it so hit or miss I guess.

Ok sry about that maybe I was burning the vg and thats how the sute stuff came into play.
Anyway I'm finally happy with the results of my application test phase thing I was going through.
Managed to learn quite a bit about the SS mesh and it's use.
I came up with a 100% pima cotton wicking system I am going to use in the gunsmoke mod.
Now I been running off usb for my testing once I put everything together maybe someone with better knowlege of electrical applications and it's usage can help me out with the battery setup. I think it's almost time to call on some reinforcments.
