I don't know, Tib. ChrisES is our expert on finding those, but the first post could have been made hours or even days after the person joined.
For now, I'll put Cranky down for the 25th and then we can take it from there.

You do not have to participate in anyone’s theme...
It has always been stated that you can choose whose avatar theme to participate in...
I don't think anyone would say anything about whether someone participates in someone’s theme or not...
You could post a picture or avatar in the other members thread if you want to just use one theme...

Yep, don't get me wrong, I want to see Cranky's 2 years celebrated too, but not at the expense of a new veteran. I would feel the same way, if it was me who was hitting 2 years. The new vet has priority.

A Pre-Vet is an ECF member that is about to have their status "Turn" to ECF-Veteran on or about the anniversary of their ECF sign up.
This thread is where you can hang out (courtesy of Whiskey creating this thread) and celebrate becoming an ECF-Veteran with other ECF members. You have the option (but not the obligation) to have an Avatar Theme Celebration on your turning day. You select a theme, and many of the group here will help celebrate by changing their avatars. Kind of an avatar costume party. You'll also get a bunch of congrats and a welcome thread created in a sub-forum for vets that pre-vets can't even see yet. If you want to have an avatar theme, start thinking about it! Try to give us enough advanced notice that we can dig something up for pics. Make sure you stop by 2 weeks prior to your turning date to put your name and theme on the list. We do our best to accommodate multiple members turning on the same date. Each member is free to choose their own theme; participants rotate and/or combine themes as desired.
