Irvine's pretty close to me Katya. You must be pretty wet too with our earlier downpour.

I just saw a similar goldfinch to your avi's on the Susan Bourdet site. She's my favorite artist. I have ordered her songbirds, hummingbirds and cats calendars for the last few years. When you aren't on watch, check out this link to see a twin bird to your goldfinch.

They are beautiful. I took the picture of my finch myself. I'm rather proud of it.

Yeah, I got caught in that downpour on my way home from the market.

We used to go to SD almost every week when my in-laws lived there. And of course we went with our kids to Sea World and the SD Zoo all the time... Now my eldest daughter is trying to decide where to go to college. UCSD is on her list. I want her to stay in Irvine.

You did a good job. I assumed it was off some nature site since it's so perfect.

Love getting caught in downpours -- free power-spray carwash, LOL.

I hardly ever go to SD anymore. For six yrs I commuted to and fro via Coaster or Amtrak. I loved the train commuting. We could drink alcohol on the trains, so about once a month, we all had happy hours on the way back home. Fun times. I used to live very near Sea World, but it was awful with the fireworks they set off every night from SeaWorld - couldn't sleep through them if you went to bed early.

Hope your daughter finds a really good university as close to you as possible. If she goes to UCSD, she'll be able to get a student's commuters pass so she can Coaster/Metrolink back to you really cheaply.

I'm going to have to take a break here pretty soon, but I'll be back.

If it weren't so late, I'd pick the phone up and call her to ask if she turned and it's just not showing up on her avi. Last time I jinged her, I caught her in the middle of a class, though, LOL. Besides, with hubby newly back home, I wouldn't want to disturb the love nest now that she's got the kiddies in bed.

ETA: I can spare another 1/2 hr before I have to turn in myself.

Hello everyone! Today is the day. It seems like a few months ago I started vaping. I'd like to thank everyone for all the knowledge and experience you share with the community. I've spit out a line or two here and there as you can tell from my post count lol. I'm just a man of few words I guess. Thanks again and hope to see you all in the vet forum.
