Buddie has really never insisted on sleeping on the bed. But she used to jump up when there was a storm because they scare her. Then she'd get right over our heads and pant and then we'd get a shower. She wasn't too happy when we made her get down.
We got a waterbed and had one set of shelves under it. A few years back, we put another set under it and, even though she can, it is a bit high for her to jump on.
Now she goes to keep son company. He's got her to where she curls up against his back and sleeps.

I don't allow it because the last thing they do before we go to bed is go outside to go tinkle...they walk in the yard which is always clean of dog do, but they also have brought in dirt & grass off their feet & stuff, I don't like that & other stuffs in my bed LOL...
I totally understand Whiskey.
DH is the one that thinks it's neat to have them sleep in the bed so he actually wants her up there. I'm just happy she doesn't particularly like it there!!!
