Okay I hope this is good on all that is on the list.
Any pre-veteran, one month or less, who wants a welcome thread in the Veteran's Forum and or an avatar theme, for their turning day, should post in this thread. To insure that you make the list, please PM me.
I sooo would appreciate the PM.
If you have any questions, please ask, we will be more than happy to answer them for you.

A Pre-Vet is an ECF member that is about to have their status "Turn" to ECF-Veteran on or about the anniversary of their ECF sign up.
This thread is where you can hang out (courtesy of Whiskey creating this thread) and celebrate becoming an ECF-Veteran with other ECF members. You have the option (but not the obligation) to have an Avatar Theme Celebration on your turning day. You select a theme, and many of the group here will help celebrate by changing their avatars. Kind of an avatar costume party. You'll also get a bunch of congrats and a welcome thread created in a sub-forum for vets that pre-vets can't even see yet. If you want to have an avatar theme, start thinking about it! Try to give us enough advanced notice that we can dig something up for pics. Make sure you stop by 2 weeks prior to your turning date to put your name and theme on the list. We do our best to accommodate multiple members turning on the same date. Each member is free to choose their own theme; participants rotate and/or combine themes as desired.

I've been busy reading, editing, and am on strike.
Well, okay, I will go back and read it.
Do I even need to post it? Since jj2 is posting the list anyway, she could just say "See the 1st post", or even include the standard message in her posting. Just wondering if we need to keep doing both, and separately. As long as we are discussing changes.........

It just seems redundant. And if we have 2 copies/two people, then we have to make changes in two places and keep them coordinated. So, why not just post jj's list 3 times a day or something (whatever works for jj) and we're set. So the info-message is just a preamble to jj's list. She already has a start on it in the latest version anyway. It's just more characters on top.
The other option, of course, is to keep them separate. I'd rather not coordinate two versions of it tho, as that creates issues rather than solves them.

Looks good jj. I'd use the extra blank line for block style paragraphs, and remove the reference to "jj2" and have it say "I post the list frequently" since you are posting it. I have no skin/ego in the wording, you can feel free to completely rewrite or shorten it. It's just the currently agreed upon text. And......thanks.......
