thx whiskey & classy. ID have a dig. camera. I looked at them last wk and know I need one - soon, very soon. Maybe I can borrow UntamedRose's next time she comes over. Actually I have a few ECF friends in the area, I'm sure I can figure something out. It's the blue acrylic mod kit from madvapes that they're usually always sold out of. I nabbed it qwik b4 they ran out again. It's really a beautiful casing.

I guess I'll check back every half hr to see if hiram drops by.

BR, did you use the cup and base or make your own and just used the fat wick and wire? What voltage are you using, that’s the high ohm wire.
I made my own cup with a larger air tube. I also converted one of my older mods to the fat wick. Both have the high ohm wire. I am using them with a Hello 016 battery, which regulates at about 3.08 volts. Power consumption is only about 2.71 watts.

I think the high ohm wire accomplishes what I wanted it to do. My juice consumption is back down to about 6ml per day instead of 9ml. I know the vapor has to be less with this combination, but I hardly notice the difference.

The fat wick does not wick any better than my other mods. As a matter of fact, one of them does not work as well when the tank is near empty.

However, this wick takes up less space in the cup. Therefore, the draw is a bit easier and the air intake is slightly more. More air is one of the main features of my mods and why they produce more vapor in a shorter length of time. The piece of junk you brought home with you doesn't work near as well, heheh.

BTW, I now know why yours is the equivalent of a high ohm coil. I won't go into details here, but it is because of the no lead silver solder that is used on the wire connections. Does that thing still work, or did you give up on it?
