Pokey, I tried an all VG mix. On the 2nd day, I got in bed and started having some vicious chest pains and coughing. I pooh-pooh'd it off as stress related. Next night, same thing, except it was worse - thought I was having a heart attack - scary. I switched back to my 75/25 PG/VG mix, and everything was okay again. Others in the Health section have commented on the same thing - going to cut my mix further down to 80/20 regardless of a vapor loss. VG just doesn't do my any good, I guess.

Vapor is overrated anyway, Sea. I can taste the tobacco flavor, get the nic kick with PG. who needs the over-the-top vapor theatrics?

Not necessarily over the top, but I like a decent amount of vapor. I think it adds to the lung-hit, the sense of drawing something in when you inhale.

I don't disagree with the psychological impact of it, but that's outweighed by flavor & TH--and there's nothing like a coughing-up-a-lung TH to remind you you're drawing something in.

Okay, PI, I'll try once again. I'm going to have to log out anyway to deal w/RW misc. duties. Wanted to stop by and find out how Jerry, Tibs, Poeia and Breaktru were all dealing w/the weather threats. My son lives at Long Island, NY, so I would imagine he has evac'd by now (hopefully) - told him to call me everyday, but you know how kids are .... haven't heard from him yet.

G'nit Tib.

I have read up a little bit about it, Sea. I had one mix at 85 VG for a long time - most of the symptoms I had I contributed to other things, but have since realized that it quite possibly may have been the VG and have cut back over time until reaching the 70/30VG which works for me, no obvious ill-effects.

I think you'll be happy at 80/20 - that's not too big a drop from where you're at. And a lot of people do all PG and are perfectly happy with it, too...it's all about what works for you. :)

Everytime I inadvertantly draw off an atty that should have been topped off, I cough up a lung and am glad that that is the exception, not the rule. :)

However, I find that the longer I vape, the less TH I seem to need overall. That amount of TH that I do like is tuned in by adding more heat via VV or the juice flavor itself - menthol, cinnamon, or tobacco.

But that's me. :)

I gotta worry about the cinnamon, Pokey. Anything that will eat through the walls of a tank might not be all so damn good for your lungs. At least over time.
I'm on the fence about it, myself, right now.

I am thinking that it is the liquids made with cinnamon oil that is the culprit - the PA Cinnamon I have isn't an oil base. But it is still cinnamon...and who knows?

I'm justifying it right now that it is an added flavor, less than 4% to the whole - and not one of those killer, red-hot cinnamon flavors that many vendors tout.

But I am agonizing on it. **sigh**

Unfortunately, cinnamon is not good for me. I luv cinnamon, but it burns out my taste buds and makes me cough if it's a strong cinnamon flavor. One day UntamedRose and the kids came over. Somehow, we began talking about tb's, and she said mine should have been back a couple of months ago - once I gave up TV's Atomic Cinnacide, they did come back which increased my vaping pleasure.

You're right. Who knows? We might know 20 years from now. But I agree: if the stuff you're using isn't oil-based, you're probably Ok.

But there are other flavors that do the same to the tanks - and they aren't oil based.

So, my little justification may not be as OK as I think. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened. :D

@Sea, that TV AC is a TB killer for sure - after vaping that for a while, I lost ALL my desire for vaping anything cinnamon for months!

Minefield, it felt like anxiety.....racing heart, a little dizzy Took me a little while to realize that it got worse when I vaped more (cigs always made stuff feel better) it got better with lower concentrations. So much for developing tolerance. :)

Thanks atty :)

Hmm. For me it's a tightness in the chest, headache and heart palpitations. Kind of like last fall but without the pain in the extremities. However my dilution seems to be helping some.

I still like the TV/AC and vape it only about once a mo. - gave a bunch to Untamed b/c I got doublers on it - still have a bunch. I give all credit to TV's Buttered Rum (diacetyl) and AC for helping me to quit smoking. I had a tuff time of it - dint have the "cold turkey" experience a lot of ppl have had - too me about a wk to quit.
