So I guess I owe my supporters a little background.

I have a wife, and 2 kids, 5 and 6, 1 boy and one girl. They are now officially IN SCHOOL.!

I have been in Real Estate since 93 and love it. I get to meet a ton of new people. I recently made a change and left a company after 14 years

My folks used to take my sister and I camping to the eastern side of the sierras to camp at least 2 weeks a year. They used to plant fish right in our campsite (we chose that one each year because we new the fish and game guys planting spots ) :D
We used to catch 10 fish each in an afternoon. We have photos of my little sister and I squatting in front of 40 rainbows.

Now with young kids, its tough to get out with the kids to go fishing. Good trout fishing is a good 4 hours away, but we try to camp at least once per year where they can fish (They still have not caught their own fish yet :( )

They are a litte young for bass fishing, but pretty soon I will be able to teach my son to bass fish. The fish in my Avi was caught about 7 miles from my house in the Delta, where all the rivers meet the San Francisco Bay.

In high school, one of my favorite classes was electronics. I especially liked to make the little shocking game where the game participant would try to move a metal wand with loop over a squiggly wire without touching it, with an led. And when they messed up, not only would the LED come on, but they would get quite a shock. A lot more shock than the "shocking gum"

In the classroom we had a master circuit that the teacher controlled when it was time for us to start working on our projects. It was always a ton of fun when we had substitute teachers. Someone would always take the initiative to stick a capacitor in the one of the electrical outlets. Good times.

I do have a day job, and build mods at night, and as many of you know, into the wee hours. Sometimes I see Whiskey is up before I even make it to bed.

I look forward to the moment I become Veteran on ECF. This place is awesome. No doubt a new addiction, but his new addiction is so much more rewarding! The people are wonderful, and I am just happy I get to help folks out in return.

No doubt I will be racking up some posts in anticipation for "the moment"!

Thanks again, and thank you to the folks that organize this very cool "honor guard" of ECF if you will.

Dang it, lost what I was typing.

Anyway, I get 6 hours sleep most nights, otherwise its 7 to 8 hours. I dont start my day job until 10 or 11.

As far as the kids, they like fishing. We dont over do it, and have been going only once or twice per year. I have some pretty nice bank fishing setups for them. I get them all set up, with bait soaking in the water, and they would rather construct their own fishing poles out of sticks and discarded fishing line. Then they whine until I put a real hook on their new made rods. Then they bait it up, and cast it two feet from their toes, and actually think they can catch a fish. Problem is, daddy and his fancy fishing gear cant catch them a damn fish.

Last time we went camping I caught fish but now while they were watching. I think once they feel the fight, and the nibble, they will be hooked.

Here are a couple of photos

Well hopefully Sea, Kayta, and Mind jump in soon.
I'm off to bed myself.
Night all

The * by names means those are set. Still looking for that someone special for the others so everybody keep an eye out. And thanks for your efforts! :)
PLEASE if you would, PM me if you're interested in starting any Welcome thread.
As the guest of honor it's not up to you to get someone to start any threads. We do that for you. But if you have someone special in mind, PM me your request. :) Please keep in mind though, said person must be an ECF Veteran.
All welcome threads should be started in the Veterans Forum EARLY morning the day before. If that is not possible, the night before.

Welcome to the ECF Pre-Vet thread!

A Pre-Vet is an ECF member that is about to have their status "Turn" to ECF-Veteran on or about the anniversary of their ECF sign up. You also need anywhere from 70 and 75 post.

This thread is where you can hang out (courtesy of Whiskey creating this thread) and celebrate becoming an ECF-Veteran with other ECF members. You have the option (but not the obligation) to have an Avatar Theme Celebration on your turning day. You select a theme, and many of the group here will help celebrate by changing their avatars. Kind of an avatar costume party. You'll also get a bunch of congrats and a welcome thread created in a sub-forum for vets that pre-vets can't even see yet. If you want to have an avatar theme, start thinking about it!

We will not turn away last minute request, but please try to give us enough advanced notice so we can dig something up for pics. Two weeks prior to your turning date would be awesome.
We try to limit scheduling to the current and the following month.

If you are a pre-veteran and want a welcome thread in the Veteran's Forum and or an avatar theme for your turning day please do the following: Post in this thread and PM me your request.

This thread moves fast so as a final safeguard double check the list that is posted here several times a day sometime before your turning day.
Or the list here: PreVet List: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rs/115895-group-news-notices.html#post3443853

We do our best to accommodate multiple members turning on the same date. Each member is free to choose their own theme; participants rotate and/or combine themes as desired.

Joining in on the celebration is for all members (new and old) so please feel free to participate in the themes for others if you wish. If you are not a Vet yet and want your pic added to Celebrant's thread in the Veterans Forum, there is a Depot located in the Sandbox.
Once you get to the Sandbox, look for the celebrant's thread and follow instructions.

Again, I post this list frequently on this thread.
List can also be found here: PreVet List: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rs/115895-group-news-notices.html#post3443853

See the FAQs and information posting at the start of this thread.
