Not for us, we quite frequently turn down gigs Sadly there are only so many Fridays and Saturdays in a given year, and weekday gigs are pretty rare, at least around here...

I do have to admit though that I'm really lucky to have found such a talented bunch of people to work with!

The boys are 15 and 4 - turning 5 later this month... they both had their first day of school on Friday (9th grade and kindergarten) and yes, I'll be celebrating having the whole house to myself tomorrow hehehehe

That is quite an age spread. There's five years between mine and I thought that was a lot.
It happens more these days. I got a friend whose oldest just started college and had another one.
I bet it was hard sending the little one off even though part of you were happy about it!!!

The age spread is definitely a challenge at times - I've been able to bond much more with the young one than with the teenager... plus they're two COMPLETELY different personalities, so it's always an interesting time around here

Yeah it's looking like I'll be turning today at the rate I'm going... thanks for the congrats, and say hi to Eeyore for me (assuming that's the friend that's coming over LOL)

teenagers aren't all that easy to bond with, even if you're a step-dad that plays in a rock band.

It's been a weekend, certainly. Trying to catch up on my sleep, went out to a few places, and finally got around to doing my first video review. Been meaning to do it for a while now, especially since I want to start the blog at some point, so I figured now would be a good time to get things started to some degree.

So now, time to get back into the swing of things here while I've still got a day off left to do so.
