Factory batteries are throw aways, Jan, but they last a long time. The eGo bats last all day, while the regular 510 batteries last about an hour and the 510 mega bats, about two hours.

Where I vape the most is at home where I use the Wall Wart version of the NicoStick. As for the portable, I have to change the batteries in those NicoSticks about once a week. I have several batteries of course, so maybe once a month, I spend the day charging them. I guess that's why I love them so much, they are so hassle free!!! And, if something goes wrong, I or DH (generally him) can fix it.

Arjay ! Congrats coming up !

br...you handsome cowboy ! (every day I am alive is a party !)

Jerry...the REO....uses a rechargeable 14500 battery ($6.00) All mechanical...built for life....

And that is why, if I went the direction of a different mod, it would be the REO!!! :)

Hi Arjay

BR---and you look better than my DH without your teeth.

Morning everyone else. :)

I use a Hello 016 battery most of the time because it has a little less voltage than any other manual that I know of. It has a 1200 mAh capacity and works about 10 hours for me between charges.

Ten hours is great. I soooo remember when I first started, I was charging batteries every time I was turning around.
Also remember the time I spent loading those darn carts. I do so love my CE2s!!!

BBL---I got to go do one of those things I'm avoiding. :(

Yeah, those 180 mAh auto batteries I was using to begin with lasted me about an hour between charges.

I build most of my C-E2 mods to hold 3ml of juice, and burn the coil off each time it gets empty. I'm trying to build them to use 6ml of juice each day, but some of them use 9ml per day. That's the reason I mostly use a low voltage battery.

Are you still having good results with the longevity of your C-E2's?

Gee it's been so long since I got my first ten, I can't remember how old they are. I think it's been well over 3/4 months and I've only lost one of them.
Once I knew I was going to like them, I got a 100 of them. I've lost two of those---not really lost, they just didn't work to begin with so they made the save-for-pieces-parts section of my storage container.
I gave something like 11 of them away in PIF and I heard one didn't last ever long.
But I would say, overall, they are good in the longevity department.

jj, br - managed to cut the syringe tube but it's not a good fit - getting lots of seepage. any ideas?

It should at least be snug???

Go to Hobby Lobby or some store like it and get some baking clay. It's what was used way back when for silicone type plug cartridge mod.
Right above the threads you will notice the part that is notched. Take some of the clay and press it in all the way around. Make sure you don't get any in the threads or in the little holes between the threads and the notched area. Also try not to get any on the sloped area above the notched area either. Press you tube on & remove the excess.
I do a lot at a time. Then get a bowl of hot water---as hot as you thing the CE2 can take. Put your modded CE2 in it and let set for about ten minutes.
Take them out and let them sit---at least until they cool off. This is to let the clay set and get hard.
At that point, you can add juice.

And you should know, I just tried this for the first time less than a week ago. Haven't had any problems, but I was giving them more time to see if it was keeper idea.
If you try it, let me know how it works for you.

thanks, jj;)

it fits pretty well but still there is so much seepage all the juice is gone within about 30 minutes. if walmart carries the baking clay i'll give it a try. i'm tempted to use crazy glue but will hold off.
we really don't have much selection in town and it might be a week or two till i get close to a hobby lobby, lol

I wouldn't use Crazy Glue---you might start acting a bit crazy.
Like I said, just started doing this and so far so good---also is stopping the tube from pulling free.
I just hope I didn't jinx this.
