Yeah and the chip my vet uses you register for free and its readable at any shelter or vet or with anyone that has a scanner and its a lifetime registration
They insert a chip that is about the size of a piece of rice under the skin between the shoulder blades and shelters and vets are trained to scan animals there to see if they are chipped the number comes up on the scanner they then input it in the national database and it pulls up the information that you provided and keep updated they send you email reminders every 3 months to update your information with the database.
I literally cried for days when my cat was gone. I felt as though I had lost one of my children. I definitely need to check with my vet about the chip.
If I lost one of my pups I would be upset they are my buddies although the one is stuck so far up my behind I doubt I could lose him lol
So if he got out again, I would just go to the vet and they would be able to see where he is?
No its not gps someone would have to take him to a vet or a shelter in order for it to be scanned
Ha. That's how my girl kitty is. She would be in my lap 24/7 if she could be. But not my boy. He gives me sweet little kisses on the nose, though.
