Is it just me, or is everything just crazy expensive these days? My baby girl comes home with this information package for her graduation and tells me it's 200 bucks! Yeesh! Did it cost us that much to graduate? I was ready to say "meh... just go for your GED" :?:::laugh:  Only kidding, of course... but seriously.

The cost of things have gone way up from that time except the wages. I was making 12 bucks an hour in 1980 to do front end alignments on cars. I would do 15 per day, They paid 1 hour each. and go home at 1:00 so back then I was making 180 dollars a day for working 5 hours. The alignment cost the customer 19.95. Today they pay the mechanic about 10 dollars per hour and charge the customer 200 bucks.
