I have a good number of Radios from the early to mid 20's. A few are restored, but most are built from scratch from plans using original parts. Either that or some of my designs. Back then there was more home built radios than manufactured ones. A friend of mine took some photos of part of them a while back. I don't know if you can see them from this URL, but maybe so.

We used to take engines off of surplus T-6's and put them on Stearmans.

Had a friend out at the airport who built T-6's for racing. He didn't fly them though.
