hey jj....yeah she probably got whacked pretty hard by that same storm. I wouldn't be surprised if she was out for a couple days. I guess maybe I should swing by the BWB section and make sure no one is swinging from the chandeliers yet.
I liked yours as one of the, if not the, best one Gummy. It was close with the 50 ft woman for theme... but .... he forgot to give her some shadow on the screen to pop her forward a bit so he loses out.

I haven't talked to either of them in a few days but I know for a fact they were in line to take a beating from this. I got 8 inches of snow here and I'm quite a bit farther south than Don and Whis. I heard on the radio that over 3million people in the northeast were without power. So its a pretty safe bet that Whis has no electric. The biggest problem was it was a very wet heavy snow and most of the trees around here still had plenty of leaves on them. The combined weight was snapping trees like toothpicks.
i completely agree. Winter is long enough in these parts without it sticking its head up Halloweens .....

I love my iPad, but I still prefer to read on my Nook--I like the screen and size better.
I need something smaller than the Nook or Kindle, pocket sized. Can't say that I like Apple software much; but do like the iPod Touch.

45! I've got big screen, big fonts and glasses on...the works.
mine are starting to fade a little too. I'm thinking I could be a candidate for an iPad. Nice big screen.

I totally understand this!!!
Some printing is so little that I need reading glasses (I'm avoiding bifocals) and a magnifying glass to read!
I guess they have a new one out called the Fire something that is pretty reasonable but it looks too little for me.
