Yeah. Just your luck it was a night I decided to stay up late and it was 25 after eleven
A couple miles up the road from me a guy opened up a chicken market. He would sell them alive or butcher them for you if you didn't want to wait just place an order and come back in an hour. His business FAILED royally. people are so use to seeing their food in a freeze wrapper that the only people that would buy from him was old folks.
Can't get any fresher than that. There is or was a restaurant in Plymouth, Massachusetts that was right on the harbor. Small boats, loaded with seafood would float up to the back door and deliver it. I had a seafood platter, with scallops, shrimp, clams, all fresh and delicious.

I used to carry a salt shaker out in the garden.
Believe it of not, our neighbor had a cat that was a vegetarian. She used to pull ripe tomatoes off the vine and eat them.
most people don't actually want to know what their food comes from.
I have rabbits and opossums that do that to my tomatoes... All the time.
Ok since I am going to be torturing you guys for the rest of the night, do you want to see a picture of me in my armor? I only have 1 on this computer and I have never been able to straighten out the background lighting. If you want to see it I will leave it up for 5 minutes.
