I love it out here on the Central Coast but I do have to say once the winds pick up it gets cold quick. Were only 15 minutes from the beach and the breeze at night is cold.
But cold is relative. To a New Englander, it's probably perfect. My friend is a native Rhode Islander, we grew up together, he is more of a brother than a friend and he has been trying to get me to move out there, since his wife passed away. The last time I talked to him on the phone, he was telling me about a house for sale in his neighborhood. Hint ??? lol

Anything over 75 is too hot :). I want to move to Alaska; I hates heat!

Well really if I had to make a choice of one extreme or the other, I would choose being cold. You can always learn how to layer clothing; but when it's hot, you can only take off so much. When my dah got into his late 80's, he was shivering all the time, so to keep from having to strap plastic sacks full of crushed ice around parts of my body, I bundled him up in thick socks and sweats over his long underoos.

That's what I was thinking. The cold there is probably classed as cool here.

The blood doesn't circulate very well at that age, that's why they get cold.
