Yep, you got that right, BR. We can even tote concealed weapons here :D

Just sayin'.....
Here in the Peoples Republic of RI, we have to go through a ton of hoops, just to own a pistol. A concealed weapon permit, is almost impossible to get. At one time, it was legal to wear an exposed siderarm without a permit, but they changed that law too.

For PattyR...

The Mousetrap is a murder mystery play by Agatha Christie. The Mousetrap opened in the West End of London in 1952, and has been running continuously since then. It has the longest initial run of any play in history, with over 24,000 performances so far. It is the longest running show (of any type) of the modern era. The play is also known for its twist ending, which at the end of every performance the audience is asked not to reveal.

Christie herself did not expect it to run for such a long time. In her autobiography, she reports a conversation that she had with Peter Saunders: "Fourteen months I am going to give it", says Saunders. To which Christie replies, "It won't run that long. Eight months perhaps. Yes, I think eight months."

Congratulations PattyR!

I had a cousin who moved to Manhattan after college. But she was too afraid of all the crime here. So, after a year, she moved to Tucson, AZ which, at the time, had the highest per capita murder rate in the country. And, of course, she now owns two pistols as well as assorted shotguns.

But at least she's safer, now that she's out of NYC.

Congratulation PattyR!

She assigned all the royalties to one of her grandkids as a birthday present. I think she had to play a lot of catch-up to give equal stuff to the others.

She actually lifted almost the entire story (including the twist) from one of her short stories. When I went to see the play, about 10 minutes into the first act I recognized it and thought "Oh. XXXXX did it." It was still fun, but…
