Uuuuugghhh. Okay well I guess it's time for me to start the morning makeup ritual. I hate doing this on my days off. 
Well Fran.... the specific support for DirectTV internet and hooking up a belkin router is .... shall we say.... not much found on the net.
I don't envy you having to troubleshoot that connection. Do you know if it is DirectOneWay (also uses phone/DSL) or DirectTwoWay (Satellite up and down)? Just curious. Also interesting summary here:

It's just satellite Atty. I don't know how to do that.
All in all I think I'm screwed with this dish. Hopefully the phone company will come thru in this lifetime.
