Sorry to hear about the tonsillitis, Tib, but I know you'll be glad to see your son and hope you'll still be able to enjoy your Christmas, today.

I'm still at work...a little longer to go, then home and straight to bed.

Just wanted to touch base with y'all, say "hey" and see y'all later. Much later, lol.

Whis my camera came with 2 Cd's One the Users Manuel and the other is Nikon ViewNX2 which is a picture storage program. I didn't install that. Is there any reason I should?

Tonsillitis is no fun. It pestered me more than a couple times after I had my daughter. That was when I found out that I'm allergic to penicillin (ended up in the hospital over it ).

tried the salt water, cranky, and will keep it up - nonetheless, it has decided to move up to the ear

no more antibiotics given nowadays, jj - it's supposed to clear up by itself except in some rare cases ....

I installed mine(storage program) Its where all my pic's go when I down load them Fran, its a great program..also once installed, it pops up immediately when I put my chip in the computer and asks you if you want to down load them...nice program & Easy

Where do you go from there? Can you move pic to "my Computer" or Photobucket from the program?

The program puts the photos anywhere you want...most computers have a file area for photos.. Documents Etc.
Photo bucket asks you to browze your computer files & choose pictures...very easy to grab them to put into photo bucket...

Both are ways to do it....in the very front of my laptop theres a slot for the chip...easier for me to just put chip in there than to hook up camera cable to computer everytme I want to down load....

depending on the chip you might need a card reader for that .....

most newer laptops have a reader if you do not have a laptop or reader fran let me know I can link you to a decent one for a good price

If she has a fairly new computer they automatically read cards right??? Mine doesn't need a card reader...

newer laptops come with a memory card slot but not all desktops have one and older laptops it was not all that common to have one
