Almost done with my new years eve cleaning. I'll wake up to a relatively fur-free house and be able to veg on the first day of 2012 without feeling guilty

It will be just as soon as I do the vacuuming (yuck!). I washed some curtains, and caulked a couple of cracks, and dusted baseboards and ceiling fans, along with the regular dusting and cleaning. Have to get done in time to go to the store and take a nap. I'll need one.
I thought about grocery shopping- but all I'm going to do is run to a specialty food store to pick up stuff to take to a party this evening.

Well.... GF called just as I got back from the store (How does she do that?) Got to go take down the outside Christmas lights before the blizzard hits.
On a bright note.... there's a bottle of bubbly in it for us tonight. I've got the crackers, meat, cheese, other snacks... and the movies all set. She has the bubbly (held ransom I think.. price = lights down). IDK about the tree recycle. Bet she doesn't have all the decorations removed yet! Good.
It's only the outside stuff that I want to get solved before the "big chill" hits. Anyway... busy afternoon and evening.
