Any pre-veteran, one month or less, who wants a welcome thread in the Veteran's Forum and or an avatar theme, for their turning day, should post in this thread.

I think you need to change the title of this thread to pre-veteran 2011 and then start a new one for 2012 or Angus isn't going to be happy when it gets to close to a zillion post.
Yup, Jan, Whiskey is in charge of the thread(s), she will have to do it and open another one.
Lets get through 2011... I suggest checking with management around November or December and see what they recommend then.
I was thinking that too Ces...A bit of cutting down on the chit chat would maybe help keep the thread post count down a little, but when it gets to be someones day for changing its alot of fun, so I don't want to damper that...we will have to play it by ear...I wish we could start our own subforum...maybe I will inquire about that sometime...Like a pre-vet/commitee subforum.
I think we've tried the 'keeping the chatting down' and it didn't last long---me to blame too. 
Now I'm not a member of the committee so it's up to those who are but keeping the chatter down is a two edged sword: The more the chatter, the more visible the thread is but the more chatter the bigger the thread grows.
