Okay, I'm a little confused about the "chat vs. welcoming" thread thing.
I thought the purpose of this thread was to welcome people welcome people who are about to become veterans and to throw a virtual party for them on the day they turn. If we are limited to listing people who are about to become veterans, discussing possible party themes and the result of checking whether someone's status has changed, those are going to be pretty boring celebrations. Don't you have to chat at a party?

Jane, I don't think the discussion was about chatting at the party, but rather about chatting in between the parties. I believe that we have come to the conclusion that it's ok, since we are keeping to the main purpose of this thread, which is to welcome new ECF veterans.
It was a perfect day here today, Sea. I went out, that is if you count grocery shopping as going out. I'm going to go for a walk in a few minutes, it's way too nice to stay in the house. See ya later !!

Ah, that's so sweet, katya. I'm glad he still feels at home in your yard for now. Really good pics!
Straining my brain w/trying to think back, I believe it was Cher, being the unique rebel she was, that started wearing the briefer stage attire. Madonna shocked me at first, but Lady Gaga certainly rules in the scantiness in the wardrobe dept. so far.
